Timmy Stephen

Partner & Chief of Staff

As Partner & Chief of Staff at Integrus, Timmy's primary role is to oversee the overall flow of the firm’s operations to ensure that objectives and expectations of all clients, team members, external stakeholders, and partners, are aligned.

Prior to joining Integrus, the majority of Timmy’s career was spent as a well-rounded team-player and professional that advanced the ranks of the Real Estate Group at CBIZ Marks Paneth (formerly Marks Paneth LLP) where he wore several hats to support the company as priorities and staffing needs shifted throughout his tenure. As a tax professional, Timmy worked on the preparation and review of tax returns and projections for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. As an auditor, Timmy worked on financial statement compilations, reviews, and audits for real estate and hospitality clients. As a consultant, he worked on off-site engagements for clients that required more hands-on assistance with special projects. As an extended arm of the human resources department on the professional side, Timmy was actively involved with connecting, recruiting, onboarding, and training/coaching new hires at the firm while also spearheading team-development initiatives for the departments. Although he wore many hats, the responsibility that Timmy enjoyed the most was also the one that came most natural to him: empowering those around him to achieve their goals, both professional and personal.

Timmy started his education in accounting and finance at age 16 when he was admitted into the Academy of Finance, established by the National Academy Foundation. He then pursued a higher education in accounting at Baruch College. Additionally, he has an active CPA license in the state of New York. It was during graduate school that Timmy and Jay met and over the course of the program, inherent synergies began to form. As the years carried on, the two remained in contact and during COVID-19 after Jay founded Integrus, Timmy joined as the first employee in January 2021. Since then, Timmy’s mission was to push the firm forward building out the firm’s infrastructure and accounting process from scratch. Motivated by loyalty and the desire to do right by their incredible staff who contribute to the firm’s success, Timmy’s genuine nature to care for the Integrus stakeholders is the reason he’s risen to Partner & Chief of Staff.
